Dan Wein is an Auckland based photographer specialising in a wide range of photography. His passion includes but is not limited to long exposure landscape photos and astrophotography, and capturing the Kiwi way of life.
This passion first started at a young age when his father gave him a small film camera. Dan would snap everything, from cars, to things in the garden. He then went on to study photography in school, learning fast and with a keen eye for it he was soon exploring every setting and function of manually operated SLR's. These days Dan operates fully with a digital SLR and the latest gadgets. He's constantly exploring the bounds of his creativity and eye for detail, to produce stunning imagery, and following it up with professional editing and post processing techniques.
Having spent several years travelling and working in the superyacht industry Dan has plenty of stories to tell. When he is not find behind the camera you Dan will be flying, out on the water fishing and boating, or skiing in the winter months but the camera will never be far away. He enjoys nature and the outdoors as well as socialising with friends and family.
